Arcfox is the premium electric brand of BAIC, run through the same BAIC BluePark group that owns BJEV. Its first cars were the αT SUV and the αS sedan, later joined by the Alpha-S HI, developed with Huawei's driver-assistance technology, the family-focused Kaola and newer Alpha-T5 and Alpha-S5 models. In the UAE Arcfox is still a rare sight. Every model has a 12V auxiliary battery, and it is that battery, not the drive pack, that we test and replace.

What a Arcfox typically takes
We do not publish a specification range for Arcfox because we would be guessing. Send us the model and year on WhatsApp and we confirm the exact battery, the price and the arrival time in one message.
Sensors and computers on standby
Arcfox cars carry cameras, radar and, on some versions, lidar, all managed by computers that wake periodically for updates and security checks. That standby activity draws on the 12V battery, and in a hot underground car park or an open lot in July the draw and the heat together wear it down. Regular drives are easier on it than weeks of standing.
Before a long trip away
If the car will stand for a month while you travel, leave the main pack well charged and, where the settings allow, turn off features that keep the car connected. Some EVs top up their 12V battery from the main pack while parked, but that depends on the software. Having it tested on your return, before the car is urgently needed, is the safe routine.
Keeping to the low-voltage circuit
Our technicians work only on the auxiliary battery, its terminals and the connections around it. They do not open covers over high-voltage cabling, touch the orange-sheathed wiring or interfere with the charging system. If a fault turns out to lie beyond the 12V circuit, we explain what we found so you can take the car to an authorised or specialist EV workshop.
