Rear cooling on full
A seven-seater carrying children in the back runs its rear blower hard where one is fitted, and in slow traffic the alternator may not keep up at idle. What an earlier owner fitted
Older budget cars often reach their third or fourth owner with an unbranded or undersized battery, a missing clamp or cables repaired with the wrong terminals. We look at all of that before fitting a new unit, because a good battery cannot make up for a poor connection. You will be told plainly if something beyond the battery needs attention.
Charging system health
On vehicles of this age, a slipping auxiliary belt or a tired alternator can undercharge a new battery and make it seem faulty within weeks.
