Jannarelly is a small sports-car company founded in Dubai, and its Design-1 is a lightweight open two-seater with styling inspired by 1960s racing cars and a mid-mounted Nissan V6. Built in small numbers, it is one of the few cars on UAE roads with genuine local roots. The Design-1 offers little in the way of roof or cover, and parked outdoors in a UAE summer its cabin and engine compartment absorb a great deal of heat. That speeds up the chemical ageing of any lead-acid battery. A shaded or covered parking spot and a fitted car cover make a real difference, as does testing the battery before each hot season begins.

We can supply and fit one where the car is parked. Because the car is rare, we ask for photos of the existing battery and its label, then confirm size, terminal side and chemistry before setting off.
A proper run of thirty minutes or more every week or so is usually enough. If it will stand longer, especially in summer, connect a smart maintainer or disconnect the battery so it is not left partly discharged in the heat.
