Lucid is a California electric-car maker whose first model, the Air, is a luxury sedan offered in trims from Pure and Touring up to Grand Touring and the high-performance Sapphire. What a Lucid typically takes
We do not publish a specification range for Lucid because we would be guessing. Send us the model and year on WhatsApp and we confirm the exact battery, the price and the arrival time in one message.
Huge range, one small weak point
The Air's main pack gives it a long driving range, yet everything that happens before the car moves, from unlocking the doors to lighting the screens and closing the high-voltage contactors, relies on the low-voltage system. When that battery is weak the car can refuse to start despite a full charge. Our job covers that auxiliary battery only; the traction pack is a matter for Lucid.
Confirm the type before we come
Electric cars from newer makers do not all use the same kind of low-voltage battery, and the specification can change between model years and trims. Before booking, send the year and trim, or a picture of the battery if you can reach it. If your Air uses a unit we cannot supply correctly, we tell you directly instead of fitting a near match.
Parked in the heat with systems awake
A parked Air still runs connectivity and security, and in a UAE summer it may also cool the cabin and the battery. That standby demand, combined with high temperatures, ages the low-voltage battery faster than in milder climates. Warning messages about the low-voltage system should be acted on promptly rather than left until the car will not unlock.

Not necessarily. If the car last showed plenty of range, a weak low-voltage battery is the more likely cause. We can test it on site and replace it if a correct unit is available for your build.
No. We only test and replace the low-voltage auxiliary battery. Faults with the drive battery, the charging port or the power electronics need Lucid service or a qualified EV technician.
