Heavy-duty diesels often carry two batteries
Many Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the Cummins diesel use a pair of batteries wired together to turn the big engine over. When one weakens, it drags the other down, so both are normally tested and replaced as a set. Tell us if your truck is a diesel and we will bring two matched units.
Towing, lights and accessories add up
Desert trips with a trailer, roof lights, compressors and fridges put steady loads on a pickup's charging system. A battery that is merely adequate for a stock truck can struggle once accessories are added. We size the replacement for how the truck is actually used, not only for the original sticker.
Start-stop on newer 1500s
Recent Ram 1500 models with engine start-stop or the eTorque mild-hybrid system rely on an AGM battery, and several also carry a small auxiliary battery. Fitting a basic flooded battery in its place tends to bring warning lights and early failure. Check the label on the existing unit, or send a photo, so we match the type.

Usually yes. On twin-battery trucks the two units work as a pair, and a new battery connected to an old one will be pulled down quickly. We test both and advise before replacing.
Heat under the bonnet, short trips and accessory loads all shorten battery life in the UAE. Two to three years is common, so a failure at that age is normal wear rather than a defect.
Where the tray and cables allow a bigger case, yes. Otherwise we recommend the highest-capacity battery of the correct size and a check of the charging output.
