Most people in the UAE know Weichai from the diesel engines inside trucks, buses, generators and boats, not from cars. The Shandong group did build passenger vehicles for a few years, first under the Enranger name, and some models, including the U70 SUV listed around 2020, carry the Weichai name itself. They are rare here and arrived as individual imports. This page covers the 12V starter battery in those cars; a Weichai-powered truck or generator set is a different job.

What a Weichai typically takes
We do not publish a specification range for Weichai because we would be guessing. Send us the model and year on WhatsApp and we confirm the exact battery, the price and the arrival time in one message.
Which name is on your car?
Vehicle catalogues list the Enranger 727 and G3 under both Weichai and Enranger, depending on the year and the paperwork, so a registration card may say one while the tailgate says the other. For our purposes the badge matters less than the body style, engine and model year. Tell us what is written on the registration and, if you can, send a picture of the engine bay.
An engine maker's car, not a truck battery
Because Weichai is associated with heavy diesel engines, owners sometimes assume their car needs a large commercial battery. It does not. These are ordinary passenger cars with car-sized batteries, and squeezing in an oversized truck unit can foul the bonnet, stretch the cables and overload the tray. We fit a car battery matched to the original dimensions and terminal layout.
The U70 is rarer still
The U70 comes from the end of Weichai's passenger-car effort, and very few exist outside China. Information on it is scarce, so we treat each one individually: measuring the tray, checking the terminal layout and confirming charging voltage with the engine running after fitting. If no matching size is available locally, we tell you when you book rather than improvise on the day.

No. We replace 12V starter batteries in cars. Weichai engines in trucks, construction plant or generators use their own battery arrangements and are best handled by a commercial vehicle or generator specialist.
Both can be right, because the two names were used for the same passenger-car range. Give us the model and year from the registration and we will match the battery either way.
