Software and sensors draw power when parked
XPeng cars run cameras, radar and connected services, and some features stay active when the car is locked. In summer, cabin and battery thermal management can add further demand. That steady draw, together with heat, shortens the life of the 12V battery. If the car is slow to respond when you approach, have it tested.
Matching the right 12V unit
Battery specifications can differ between XPeng models and production periods. A photo of the current 12V battery label, showing its size and terminal positions, lets the technician bring the correct replacement. We never touch the high-voltage drive battery.
The X9 carries a bigger load
