Yema Auto is a Sichuan-based Chinese maker that built compact petrol SUVs such as the F99, T70 and T80 and, later, electric models in its EC series. The company has been through serious financial trouble in recent years, and support for its vehicles outside China is very thin. A Yema in the UAE is almost certainly a private import, which means no dealer to call when the battery goes. We identify the replacement from what is fitted and handle it on site.

What a Yema typically takes
We do not publish a specification range for Yema because we would be guessing. Send us the model and year on WhatsApp and we confirm the exact battery, the price and the arrival time in one message.
An orphaned brand, so measure rather than look up
With little official documentation available in English and no local importer, there is no reliable list that says which battery a given Yema should have. We take the case dimensions, terminal positions and rated capacity from the existing battery, check the tray and clamp, and choose the replacement from those measurements. If the battery fitted now is obviously the wrong size, we tell you and suggest what the space was designed for.
EC models: the small battery that wakes the big one
Yema's electric EC30, EC60 and EC70 still depend on a conventional 12V battery for door locks, the instrument panel and the relays that bring the traction pack online. If it is weak, the car may not respond at all even with plenty of range showing last time it was driven. Our work on these cars is limited to that 12V battery; the high-voltage system needs an EV specialist.
Yema models: what to know
- T70
- Compact petrol SUV from the mid-2010s; a hot car park is the main enemy of its battery.
- T80
- Larger SUV with more equipment; keep to the original capacity when replacing.
- F99
- Earlier small SUV from around 2010; by now the battery fitted may not match the original.
- EC70
- Electric model; only the 12V auxiliary battery is replaced on site, never the drive pack.
- EC30
- Smaller model in the electric range; a flat 12V battery can stop it switching on at all.

Yes. The battery is a standard type even if the car is unusual, and we choose the replacement from the size, terminals and capacity of the one fitted now, checked against the tray on arrival.
More often it is the 12V auxiliary battery, which powers the locks and control units. We test and replace that battery; any fault in the high-voltage pack is outside our work.
