Zedriv is a small Chinese electric-car brand whose range centres on two compact city cars, the GC1 and GC2, and the larger GX5 SUV. Little is published about the company outside China, and any Zedriv on UAE roads is almost certainly a private import. We cannot offer much brand history, but we can deal with the part that most often strands these cars: the 12V auxiliary battery that switches them on.

What a Zedriv typically takes
We do not publish a specification range for Zedriv because we would be guessing. Send us the model and year on WhatsApp and we confirm the exact battery, the price and the arrival time in one message.
Do not use a small EV as a donor
Helping a neighbour with a flat battery is a kind reflex, but using a compact EV as the donor car is a poor idea. Its 12V system is fed by a DC converter sized for the car's own modest load, and many EV makers warn against jump-starting other vehicles from it. The surge of cranking a large petrol engine can damage that converter, which is a far costlier repair than any battery.
City cars with little in reserve
The GC1 and GC2 are small cars that usually carry a compact 12V battery, and they tend to be used for short errands with long gaps in between. While the car is neither driving nor charging, the auxiliary battery is on its own, and in summer it has little margin. If your Zedriv regularly sits for more than a week or two, a check before the hot months saves a call-out.
Being revived is different
If your own Zedriv has a flat 12V battery, a booster pack can often bring it back, but the connection order matters on electronic cars and the wrong points can cause trouble. We would rather test first: a battery that has gone completely flat once in the heat often does it again within weeks, and replacing it is the lasting fix.

We advise against it. The 12V system in a small EV is not built to crank a large engine, and doing so risks damaging its DC converter. Use a booster pack or call us instead.
