Dubai International Academic City, usually shortened to DIAC, is a district of university campuses reached from the Dubai–Al Ain Road, a fair way out from the older parts of the city. Many students here drive second-hand cars bought cheaply for the degree, with no record of when the battery was last changed. Tell us which university you are at, because DIAC is a collection of separate campuses, not one address.

Our route to Academic City
About Academic City
- A dedicated higher-education district in Dubai, often called DIAC.
- Several universities have their own campuses, gates and car parks.
- The Dubai–Al Ain Road is the main approach.
- Not to be confused with University City in Sharjah.
Where we find cars in Academic City
Give the university name, the gate and the car park row. Campus security usually wants to know a service vehicle is coming, so tell them or ask us to call ahead with your name. If vehicles cannot enter, the technician will meet you at the gate and carry the battery to your car, away from teaching areas.
A used car with an unknown battery
A cheap used car can look fine and drive well while hiding a battery near the end of its life. Nobody knows its age or how it was treated. Then the first long hot spell, or a week of exams when the car barely moves, finishes it off. Student cars also make the run out along the Al Ain Road and back, then sit all day in open lots. A quick test after you buy tells you what you really have.
Before you message us
- Ask for a battery test soon after buying a used car, before it lets you down.
- Keep your student ID ready for campus security.
- If you share a car with flatmates, agree who drives it each week so it never sits for long.

Questions, answered.
We average about 30 minutes to Academic City, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are on a roadside or in a basement car park, send the pin on WhatsApp and the technician comes straight to the car.
It's a good idea. The seller may not know the battery's age. A free test shows its condition, and you only replace it if it is actually weak.
Usually, if the university's security lets the technician in. Give us the gate and the car park, and have your ID handy.
