Lahbab, also spelled Lehbab, lies well inland on Dubai's desert road corridor, known for its red dunes, desert camps and weekend dune-driving. It is a long way from the city and much of it is sand. We can help where our service vehicle can drive: roadside stops, paved car parks and camps with a proper access road. We do not drive onto dunes, so if the car is off the tarmac it may need recovering to firm ground first. Please call before booking.

Desert trips put unusual loads on a battery. Camp lights, fridges and speakers run off the car in the evening with the engine off; winches and compressors pull hard during recoveries; and deflating and reinflating tyres often means a compressor running from the battery. Fine sand gets into everything, including terminals. A battery that copes with city driving can be flattened by one long evening at a camp.
