Confirm the address is on the Dubai side: a pin a few streets away can land in Sharjah. For homes, send the building or villa number and the parking side. At the beach park, give the entrance you used and the car park row, not a pin on the sand; if the park has its own entry rules, check them before booking.

Salt spray and crusty terminals

Moist, salty air from the lagoon and the Gulf settles under the bonnet and helps a white or bluish deposit build up on the terminals. That layer resists current, so the starter gets less than the battery can give. The car cranks slowly and the battery gets the blame, when sometimes the fault is at the clamp. Heavy corrosion that is ignored also eats into the cable ends and shortens battery life.
