Hotels and beach destinations each have their own vehicle approach.
Parts of the development are still being built.

Where we find cars in Deira Islands

Send the actual road entrance and car park of your hotel, beach or residence, not a pin in the middle of the islands. If you are relying on an older map label, confirm the usable approach with the property first; construction can close or move roads. Hotel car parks are easiest when reception knows we are coming.

Salt, sand and open beach car parks

Beach and hotel car parks on the islands are often open surface lots right by the water. Cars there take salt spray and wind-blown sand from the reclaimed land at the same time, and both end up around the battery terminals. Salt speeds up corrosion; sand holds the moisture against the metal. A long beach day in the summer sun on top of that can be the final push for an older battery.
