This Al Hamriya is the Bur Dubai neighbourhood near Dubai Creek and the Al Seef waterfront, with Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road as a main reference. The name turns up elsewhere too, including Hamriyah in Sharjah, so please say Bur Dubai when you book. Creek humidity and corroded clamps
Being close to the Creek means damp air much of the year, especially on still summer nights. Moisture condenses in the engine bay and helps a crust of corrosion form on the battery posts and clamps.
