Jumeirah 1 is the stretch of the old coastal Jumeirah district closest to the city centre, and it has nothing to do with JVC, JLT or the other newer 'Jumeirah' names. It mixes walled family villas with a busy strip of cafés, boutiques and beach spots along Jumeirah Beach Road. We get called to both: a driveway behind a villa gate in the morning, a small roadside car park outside a café by afternoon. Tell us which and we find the car quickly.

Where we find cars in Jumeirah 1

For a home, send the villa number, the street and a pin on the gate you drive through. For a café, shop or beach stop, give the name of that car park rather than your home address, and say if it is a small roadside lot where we should park carefully to avoid blocking customers. At La Mer, the parking zone helps.

A day of short stops

A typical Jumeirah 1 day for a car is a string of very short drives: school, a coffee, the gym, a boutique, back home, each only a few minutes long. Every start takes a big gulp of charge and the following drive is too short to put it back. The battery ends the day lower than it began, and after weeks of this it is permanently weakened. It usually gives out after one of those short stops, outside a café.
