The Lakes is one of the older villa communities in Emirates Living, organised into six sub-communities of spacious homes set around man-made lakes and landscaped walkways. Mature trees shade many driveways, and most cars live in a garage or under a carport. It is a settled, quiet area where owners often keep the same car for years, so a lot of the batteries we replace here are simply old. The enclave name matters, because each one has its own entrance.

Where we find cars in The Lakes
Send the enclave name, street and villa number, and a pin on your driveway rather than the nearest lake. If the car is in a garage, open the door and clear space at the front. Entry is usually arranged through the resident, so let the security gate know a technician is on the way. For a car at a community facility, give its car park, not a waterside path.
Humid lakeside air on older batteries
The lakes and heavy irrigation keep the air around these homes more humid than open desert suburbs. Garages trap that moisture on still nights, and it condenses on battery terminals, feeding corrosion. Batteries in long-kept cars here also tend to be older than owners realise.
